What you will do

• Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise data governance framework.
• Build tools and APIs to automate data quality monitoring and metadata management.
• Enforce data stewardship policies and ensure compliance with GDPR and CCPA.
• Create and maintain data lineage models to map data flows across systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote high standards of data security and accessibility.
• Report on governance activities and data health metrics to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in data governance or data management.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with data quality and governance tools like Monte Carlo, Alation, or Atlan.
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt, Snowflake, and Looker.
• Familiarity with Fivetran and data integration pipelines.
