Lead Tech Strategist (f/m/d) Core Platforms in Energy Retail

Location: Hybrid work from Essen, Hannover, Munich, Berlin, Würzburg, Hamburg, or Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Weekly international travel is required. Workation is available for up to 20 days per year within Europe.

What you will do

• Translate business strategy into technological capabilities and strategic IT priorities.
• Provide the strategy department with technology insights that unlock business value.
• Shape the CRM and billing platform domain, including advice on SAP, Salesforce, and Kraken-related technologies.
• Advise on technology utilization for specific regional business requirements.
• Determine which parts of the value chain should be localized and which should be standardized for economies of scale and faster delivery.
• Initiate and lead IT and technology organizational transformation for a multinational business.

Requirements

• Degree in business informatics, management, or a related field, with several years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience as Head of IT or Head of Core Systems.
• Experience with SAP, Salesforce, Kraken, or comparable core business platforms.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving ability, innovation mindset, and high-level technology expertise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including engagement with senior stakeholders and top-level interfaces.
• Willingness to travel weekly and internationally.
