What you will do
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering professional growth and development.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle from planning and design through to deployment.
- Define technical strategies, standards, and best practices for the team.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Implement processes and tools for ensuring the quality and reliability of NavSDK APIs.
- Identify and mitigate risks early in the development process to ensure smooth project execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, promoting innovation and efficiency in software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 6 months in a tech leadership or management role.
- Strong technical background with expertise in at least one high-level programming language such as Kotlin, Swift, C++, Java, or Python.
- Proven track record of successfully leading software development teams and delivering projects on schedule.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience with mobile development and/or SDK software development.
