Location: Hybrid in Madrid, Spain (2 days a week in office)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering professional growth and development.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from planning and design through to deployment.
• Define technical strategies, standards, and best practices for the team.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Implement processes and tools for ensuring the quality and reliability of NavSDK APIs.
• Identify and mitigate risks early in the development process to ensure smooth project execution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, promoting innovation and efficiency in software development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 6 months in a tech leadership or management role.
• Strong technical background with expertise in at least one high-level programming language such as Kotlin, Swift, C++, Java, or Python.
• Proven track record of successfully leading software development teams and delivering projects on schedule.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with mobile development and/or SDK software development.
