What you will do

• Lead backend development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of backend services using Python frameworks.
• Define technical standards and improve system architecture and infrastructure.
• Plan and oversee backend development tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Build and mentor a strong backend engineering team, managing onboarding and career development.

Requirements

• English: B2 level or higher
• 5+ years backend development experience with Python, including 2+ years in a lead or managerial role.
• Experience with distributed systems, databases, API design, cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong leadership and communication skills for managing and mentoring teams.
• Location: Hybrid work with presence in one of the company hubs; relocation support available

• Experience in finance or trading systems.
