What you will do
- Develop and manage sales activities for the commercial segment, focusing on both new customer acquisition and account expansion.
- Proactively build a sales pipeline through cold calling and targeted prospecting to convert conversations into viable opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales Engineering and Marketing, to deliver technical product demonstrations and drive account strategy.
- Coordinate with Channel, Alliance, and MSP partners to close business within a tier-two model.
- Meet or exceed individual and team revenue targets while maintaining accurate forecasting and opportunity details in Salesforce.
- Plan and participate in local marketing activities to generate leads and strengthen market presence within the territory.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant experience in mid-market to enterprise software sales, specifically with direct and channel models.
- Proven track record of managing resellers at a tactical, transaction-based level.
- Deep understanding of technology trends, specifically virtualization and IT infrastructure, and their business impact.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business with strong cold-calling and prospecting skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory is mandatory.
