Location: Hybrid, working 3 days per week in our Dublin Office, Ireland.

What you will do

• Distill team scope and hire a balanced group of engineers.
• Foster career development and a positive team dynamic.
• Drive fluid team processes and continuous improvements.
• Evolve a deep understanding of relevant systems for appropriate architectural choices.
• Collaborate with Design, Product, and Engineering to implement an impactful roadmap.
• Bridge departments including Engineering, Product, Design, Marketing, Data Science, and Operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of recent experience managing a Product engineering team of three or more engineers.
• 7+ years of industry experience deploying and operating backend systems across large codebases at global scale.
• Ability to lead by example, including writing and reviewing code.
• Strong technical foundations in computer science, data structures, algorithms, and software design and operating practices.
• Ability to fluently translate, document, and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
