Senior Software Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Location: Galway, County Galway, Ireland; hybrid

Salary: €65,600–€98,400 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Build and support Atlas platforms that make critical medical device data accessible to clinicians, health systems, and external partners.
• Develop data export and data access capabilities using industry-standard XML and HL7 formats.
• Design and develop cloud-based services, APIs, data pipelines, and microservices.
• Deliver secure, reliable, and near real-time data integrations for healthcare systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams and participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 2 years of experience.
• At least 4 years of experience delivering software with .NET Framework.
• At least 2 years of experience with a public cloud environment, preferably AWS.
• At least 2 years of experience developing applications with Kubernetes, plus experience with SQL, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and artifact tooling.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka or similar streaming technologies.
• Experience with monitoring stacks such as ELK, Dynatrace, or CloudWatch.
• Experience refactoring monoliths into microservices.
• Experience with BDD and Gherkin.
• Experience in a medical device company.
