What you will do

• Design and develop high-integrity software for medical devices in a Global Cloud IaaS environment.
• Define technical product requirements and high-level architectural specifications.
• Build and test distributed and high-performance computing applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure feasibility and system integration.
• Support design reviews to mitigate risks and ensure requirements are met.
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Galway, Ireland
• NFQ level 8 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience (or 5 years with an advanced degree).
• Proficiency in C#, .NET 8+, and Entity Framework (EF6/EF Core).
• Experience with AWS (specifically S3), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in microservices architecture and REST API design.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java and relational databases.
• Knowledge of NoSQL datastores like HBase and DynamoDB.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (AZDo).
• Familiarity with SpecFlow, MS Test frameworks, and Git/BitBucket.
