Location: This is a hybrid role based in Porto, Portugal. The role focuses on overseeing People programs across the EMEA and LATAM regions, with primary emphasis on Portugal, UK, and Germany, and requires expertise in European labor codes. Ability to travel to regional sites on at least a quarterly basis is required.

What you will do

  • Translate business goals into People programs and actions for EMEA and LATAM regions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Oversee the employee lifecycle and ensure compliance with local labor regulations across multiple EMEA and LATAM countries.
  • Manage and mentor People Partners in the EMEA region, fostering their professional growth.
  • Champion culture-enhancing initiatives and drive internal People communications.
  • Oversee the immigration function for the EMEA region.

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience in a related People role, supporting business groups in EMEA and/or LATAM within a global People Partner model.
  • Expertise across multiple EMEA countries, with deep familiarity with Portugal and European labor codes and compliance.
  • Prior experience managing and mentoring HR Professionals.
  • Proven ability to present HR information to leadership in clear, compelling terms.
  • Strong collaboration, strategic acumen, personal credibility, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives, priorities, and responsibilities calmly under pressure.
