Principal Consultant - Senior Business Analyst (Public Sector)

Location: New York City, USA (Hybrid work model with 2-3 days in-office per week)

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 Gross (base + bonuses)

What you will do

• Engage stakeholders to gather and document business requirements including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Design and support implementation of optimized workflows and cloud-based platform adoption for government services.
• Develop and execute test cases and UAT plans, facilitating quality assurance and feedback collection.
• Serve as liaison between business, IT, and partners to ensure alignment and successful solution adoption.
• Conduct training and support for system adoption and change management.

Requirements

• Must have 10+ years as a Business Consultant with 3+ years in the public sector.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, HIPAA, CJIS regulations and public sector compliance.
• Experience with digital transformation, enterprise systems, and Agile, Scrum, Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Preferred certifications: CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, or PMP.
• Location requirement: Must be based in or able to work in New York City with hybrid attendance.
