What you will do

• Take end-to-end ownership of AI-based detection applications, from system architecture and data preparation to model deployment in production environments.
• Design, implement and optimize real-time software components for high-performance machine vision applications.
• Test, validate and ensure the robustness and reliability of AI systems, meeting industrial-grade quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including system architecture, mechatronics, software and controls.
• Continuously improve internal AI frameworks and integrate state-of-the-art open-source solutions and academic research.
• Contribute to the evolution of intelligent control algorithms used in automated logistics and parcel handling systems.

Requirements

• You have a university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• You have a PhD (completed or ongoing) or 5+ years of professional experience in Deep Learning and Machine Vision.
• You have strong expertise in image segmentation, object detection and image classification.
• You are proficient in Python and C++ and experienced in scalable training on local and/or cloud infrastructures.
• You are passionate about applying AI to real-world industrial and logistics challenges.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to have

• You have knowledge of Reinforcement Learning, Robotics, Generative AI or Explainable AI (considered a plus).
