Head of People (HR Tech/Fintech): Defining and executing a People strategy for a high-growth tech company, building the internal People function from scratch, and also serving as an external voice on the future of benefits. Location: Hybrid (London, Dublin, or within the UK/Ireland/EU)

What you will do
- Define and execute a People strategy aligned with growth trajectory, culture, and industry position.
- Build talent strategy and infrastructure to maintain high hiring standards during scaling.
- Design scalable performance review, career progression, and compensation frameworks.
- Foster a values-driven culture and develop managers on feedback and team health.
- Advise the executive team on org design, leadership, compensation, and people risk.
- Build and refine core People operations and own workplace experience (physical and remote).
- Represent externally, advise customers on benefits strategy, and influence product development.
Requirements
- 8+ years in People/HR roles at startups or scaleups (sub-500 employees preferred), with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience building or significantly scaling a Talent and People function in a high-growth, tech-first environment.
- Fluency in HR tech, either through work experience or strong opinions from implementation.
- Commercial instinct and excitement to work with customers and influence product decisions.
- European employment expertise, understanding multi-region operations across the UK, Ireland, and the EU.
- Strong advisory presence with founders and executives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity and building from scratch.
