TL;DR
Product Design Intern (UI/UX): Contribute to the design of hirify.global's product, working on identifying complex problems and transforming them into intuitive, human-centered solutions. Focus on end-to-end design processes, participating in strategic discussions, creating eng-ready final designs in Figma and collaboration with cross-functional partners.
Location: Hybrid in Vancouver, BC office. Requires in-person work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Salary: CAD 50.00 per hour.

What you will do
- Pair with experienced designers to enhance collaboration skills and identify complex problems.
- Actively participate in the end-to-end design process, from concept exploration to creating final designs in Figma.
- Contribute to strategic discussions and ensure cohesive experiences within the hirify.global product.
- Collaborate to learn new methodologies for divergent thinking and understand its impact on end users.
- Work with a design mentor and cross-functional partners to identify problems, set strategy, and ship projects.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in a design-related field.
- Anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and July 2027.
- Portfolio showcasing human-centered design practices and strong interaction and interface design skills.
- Ability to express ideas via rich stories and prototypes.
- Aptitude for novel, simple solutions and systematic thinking.
- Experience with Figma or similar design tools.
