TL;DR

Director, Enterprise - Retail & CPG (AI): Leading a team of Strategic Account Executives to drive growth and expand relationships with key customers in the Retail and CPG verticals, with an accent on strategic account expansion and developing high-performing sales teams. Focus on building trusted customer relationships, ensuring accurate forecasting, and coaching methodology-based selling.

Location: Must be based in Germany (preference for Munich). Regular travel to customer sites and some international travel required.

What you will do

  • Lead and mentor a team of Strategic Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Create clear regional growth and investment plans within the first 90 days.
  • Build and sponsor trusted relationships with customers and partners to drive long-term success.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and create a predictable, high-growth business.
  • Coach the team in vision setting and methodology-based selling (MEDDPICC, challenger mentality).
  • Develop a solid understanding of the product's technical details and roadmap.

Requirements

  • 7+ years leading high-performing experienced Enterprise sales teams selling into strategic global accounts in Germany.
  • Proven track record of developing high-performing teams in high-growth Data, AI, Cloud, or SaaS/Tech companies.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Retail and CPG vertical and proven relationships within these accounts.
  • Fluent in German and English is essential.
  • Willing and able to travel to customer sites on a regular basis is required, as well as some international travel.
  • Understanding of usage-based, commit-based, and service-based revenue models.
