What you will do

• Lead negotiations and draft sophisticated agreements including licensing contracts, NDAs, BAAs, and strategic supplier partnerships.
• Assess real-world risk of handling sensitive partner and member data and advise the business on secure operations.
• Track personal data movement and continuously strengthen safeguards across healthcare and fintech solutions.
• Drive proactive risk management through scheduled privacy assessments and measurable initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison with data-protection regulators and external governing bodies.
• Partner with Information Security and AI task force to guide cybersecurity response, governance frameworks, and responsible AI strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 to 7 years of post-law school legal experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in contracts, regulatory matters, and issue resolution.
• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to a state bar.
• Location: Hybrid in Boston, MA

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, technology, fintech, payments, privacy regulations (HIPAA, CCPA, GLBA), and AI-related legal matters.
• Preference for big law experience.
