Resident Solutions Architect

Resident Solutions Architect (Data Platforms & Analytics): Works with clients on big data challenges using the hirify.global platform, providing data engineering, data science, and cloud technology solutions. Focus on designing and building reference architectures and implementing transformational big data projects.

Location: Travel to customers 20% of the time.

Salary: $161,280—$225,792 USD

What you will do

• Work on customer technical projects, including designing and building reference architectures and productionalizing customer use cases.
• Work with engagement managers to scope professional services work with input from customers.
• Guide strategic customers in implementing transformational big data projects and 3rd party migrations.
• Consult on architecture and design; bootstrap or implement customer projects for successful adoption of hirify.global.
• Provide escalated support for customer operational issues.
• Work with the hirify.global technical team to ensure technical components meet customer needs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics.
• Comfortable writing code in either Python or Scala.
• Working knowledge of two or more common Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
• Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark™ and knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Experience with technical project delivery - managing scope and timelines.

• Working knowledge of MLOps.
• Design and deployment of performant end-to-end data architectures.
