Lead 3D Artist (Gamedev): Leading the art team in creating a diverse range of 3D assets for a high-profile game, specializing in PBR, lighting, rendering, and material authoring. Focus on providing aesthetic and technical direction, ensuring high-quality artistic results, and mentoring 3D artists.
Location: Opportunity to apply for hybrid working (up to 2 days working from home per week). Can support UK relocation.

What you will do
- Coordinate art resources, schedules, and priorities in collaboration with the Art Director and Production team.
- Provide aesthetic and technical direction to asset team artists.
- Produce benchmark assets to the style and brief of the project.
- Lead the production and creation of art assets.
- Prioritize work, identify issues in JIRA, and escalate them to production.
- Manage and mentor the career development of 3D Artists at various skill levels.
Requirements
- Proven game cycle experience as a Senior or Lead Artist.
- Shipped at least one title as a Senior or Lead Artist.
- Experience working with a 3rd Party project.
- Advanced understanding of 3D packages, Photoshop, Substance Designer/Painter, Zbrush, and Marmoset Toolbag.
- Excellent knowledge of unwrapping, modifying, and creating UVs.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities, as well as interpersonal skills.
