What you will do

• Create 3D models and textures for environmental assets including buildings, terrain, vegetation, and props.
• Collaborate with Lead and Associate Lead artists to ensure a cohesive and immersive game world.
• Work with level design and lighting departments to ensure assets are optimized and integrated effectively.
• Develop and implement new techniques and tools to improve the environment art pipeline.
• Support and mentor the environment artist team to maintain a high standard of quality.
• Optimize environment assets for performance in coordination with Technical Artists and Engineering.

Requirements

• An excellent portfolio with recent examples of Environment Art.
• Proficiency with 3D industry standard tools such as Maya, 3DSMax, or Blender.
• Proficiency with surfacing tools such as Photoshop and Substance Painter.
• Proven ability to produce optimized 3D assets for games.
• Strong understanding of shape, form, and composition.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unreal Engine.
• Experience with large open-world games.
• Experience with hard surface and foliage asset modeling.
