Principal Product Manager (Ads Measurement): Leading the vision and execution of next-generation measurement products to help advertisers understand and optimize business growth across Microsoft Ads and AI-powered surfaces with an accent on API design, database performance, and scalability. Focus on defining impact quantification, enabling smarter marketing decisions, and establishing measurement as a strategic advantage for customers and Microsoft.

Location: Must be based in the U.S. within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office (e.g., Redmond) and work from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: USD $163,000 – $296,400 per year (U.S. general range)

What you will do

  • Lead vision, strategy, and roadmap for Microsoft Ads’ measurement platform.
  • Build and launch measurement capabilities, including attribution, incrementality, cross-channel reporting, and AI-driven insights.
  • Partner with engineering, UX, and data science to design, validate, and ship features.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and account teams to ensure products meet advertiser needs and drive adoption.
  • Define and analyze product metrics to guide decisions and evaluate performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience driving strategy and shipping complex data, analytics, or measurement products at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering and cross-functional partners to deliver high-impact features.
  • Solid understanding of advertising or marketing technology, including measurement, attribution, experimentation, or performance optimization.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product direction and customer value.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
