TL;DR

Account Executive (Fintech): Building new business within financial services, responsible for originating, advancing, and closing complex, high-value deals with buy-side and sell-side institutions with an accent on consistent new logo wins, deal quality, and sustained quota performance. Focus on ownership, accountability, and material upside.

Location: Candidates should be located in New York or the surrounding area. Must have legal authorization to live and work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.

Salary: 130K - 150K base + uncapped attractive commission scheme

What you will do

  • Own the full new business lifecycle from cold prospecting to close, with no reliance on inbound demand.
  • Build and maintain a deep, active pipeline across hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and trading desks.
  • Run executive-level discovery and position hirify.global as a mission-critical data platform.
  • Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, and technical buyers.
  • Forecast with precision and manage pipeline with rigor and transparency.
  • Partner closely with product, analysts, and leadership to influence roadmap, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven success in a new-logo Account Executive role selling SaaS, DaaS, or analytics solutions to the financial services across North America.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding quota in competitive, complex sales environments.
  • Direct experience selling into buy-side and/or sell-side financial institutions.
  • Strong outbound motion—comfortable creating pipeline from scratch and winning without brand dependency.
  • Exceptional commercial judgment.
  • Highly disciplined, self-directed, and resilient under pressure.
  • Executive presence with the ability to challenge prospects and sell value, not features.
