Senior Product Designer

TL;DR

Senior Product Designer: Solving for the Admin persona and its end-users on hirify.global’s core product, impacting the user experience for business and personal customers worldwide with an accent on balancing UX with security and discoverability. Focus on improving the core product experience, driving innovation through experimental mindset, and collaborating with Product Managers to drive solutions from problem discovery.

Location: Based in Lisbon, Portugal. This is a hybrid role requiring office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. English is the working language.

What you will do

• Advocate for the user and drive work within cross-functional, business-oriented teams.
• Ensure the success of released solutions, driving innovation and constantly pushing product quality.
• Create exemplary prototypes and experiences that balance user needs, technology constraints, and hirify.global values.
• Utilise and contribute to our design system to create high-quality UI.
• Provide expertise in discovering user pain points and solving user problems using advanced UX Research methodologies.
• Participate in UX workshops and Design Sprints to drive innovation and build intuitive user experiences.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a digital product development environment.
• 4+ years of experience working in close partnership with engineers and product managers.
• Prior and significant experience on a SaaS product and B2B/Enterprise solutions.
• Full professional mastery of English, both verbal and written.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience in Figma and familiarity with building reusable components or contributing to a Design System.
• Experience storyboarding, building user flows, prototyping, and applying research techniques like Card Sorting.
• Proven track record of measurable design impact on the business.
• Ability to understand and interpret WCAG guidelines for accessible experiences.
• Experience creating, integrating, and advocating Design Systems in software development.
• Working experience with Agile cycles and ceremonies.
• Passion for digital privacy and security and following software development trends.
