TL;DR

Director, Global Events: Leading the strategic and operational aspects of hirify.global’s global events portfolio, driving pipeline, revenue influence, and brand advancement through a unified, experience-led strategy. Focus on establishing operating models, KPI stewardship, quality assurance, and managing global strategy, budget, and vendor relationships across all event tiers.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain the global events strategy, calendar, and portfolio aligned with brand and GTM priorities.
  • Lead experience design, content architecture, and on-site execution for flagship programs.
  • Co-build third-party and regional event strategies with Field Marketing, including event selection and sponsorships.
  • Define, operationalize, and govern global event KPIs, dashboards, and optimization recommendations.
  • Manage the global events budget, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy, accessibility, safety, and sustainability principles for all events.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the event marketing team and provide guidance to cross-functional partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7–10+ years in event/field marketing for B2B SaaS/technology, with 2+ years of people leadership.
  • Proven ownership of multi-region portfolios and flagship conferences with measurable pipeline and ROI impact.
  • Demonstrated experience leading governance across GTM-owned field teams and partner marketing.
  • Proficiency in strategic portfolio planning, data-driven decision-making, and program/project management across time zones.
  • Expertise in budget management, forecasting, vendor governance, and event technologies (Cvent, Splash, Salesforce, Marketo/HubSpot).
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Dallas, TX and willingness to travel 40%-60%.
