🔹About the Role
We're looking for a strategic Account Manager to own client relationships, drive revenue growth, and ensure project success. You'll be the operational and commercial owner of client accounts- managing communication, finances, and team coordination to maximize client lifetime value.
🔹Responsibilities
- Write weekly progress updates and manage client communication
- Control financial operations: invoicing, payment tracking, time-tracking oversight
- Identify and execute upsells and contract expansions
- Defend project scope and manage client expectations professionally
- Coordinate team resources: hiring input, workload monitoring, replacements when needed
- Handle conflicts, incidents, and escalations before they reach leadership
- Ensure proper contract closure and positive feedback
- Build long-term relationships that generate referrals and repeat business
🔹Required Experience
- 2+ years in account management, client success, or agency operations
- Fluent in both English and Russian (written and verbal)
- Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Strong financial literacy: budgets, invoicing, margin analysis
- Proactive problem-solver who identifies issues early
- Comfortable setting boundaries and saying "no" diplomatically
- Understanding of web development or tech services workflow
🔹Nice to Have
- Experience with Upwork platform
- Background in SaaS or B2B services
- Familiarity with project management tools (Linear, Asana, Jira,Clickup)
- Knowledge of time-tracking systems
- Multi-tenant SaaS or financial systems background
