What you will do
- Manage multiple technical projects within a business portfolio, providing direction and support to scrum teams.
- Create detailed project plans, track milestones, manage risk, provide clear updates on progress, and handle releases.
- Act as a leader and mentor to delivery teams, working with the business to mitigate risks and maintain planned development velocity.
- Foster team spirit, collaboration, and develop a high-performing, empowered team with a clear purpose and schedule of tasks.
- Provide management guidance and support in all aspects of the project lifecycle.
- Ensure clear and precise communications internally within the project and externally to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing multiple concurrent technology software development projects to successful completion.
- Extensive experience managing third-party near & offshore vendors, responsible for delivering products or services to a high standard.
- Numerate and technically literate with a range of IT skills and an interest in improving production processes.
- Strong leader and experienced in developing team relationships.
- Proven track record of delivering technical projects and providing leadership/oversight to Software Development, through Agile, waterfall or hybrid methodology.
- Strong leadership skills, able to demonstrate team direction to support delivery schedules, including managing risks/issues, dependencies/mitigations, associated communications to all levels including C-level.
