TL;DR

Account Executive, SMB (Cybersecurity): Managing SMB sales territory, focusing on new business development, pipeline building, and driving growth within the cybersecurity sector. Focus on strategic account planning, value-based selling, and effectively articulating complex cybersecurity concepts to C-suite executives.

Location: This is an onsite role requiring full-time work (3-5 days/week) from hirify.global’s downtown Toronto office. Restricted to Canada-based candidates.

Salary: $66,000–$90,000 CAD annual base, plus commission.

What you will do

  • Manage a territory of target accounts and an existing book of business up to 1,000 employees.
  • Hunt new business opportunities, build sales pipeline, and drive growth within the SMB sector.
  • Upsell and expand existing accounts with Extended Access Management Identity.
  • Develop a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
  • Collaborate with SDRs, Solutions, Onboarding, and Customer Success Managers.
  • Confidently present to C-suite executives and utilize strong negotiation skills.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of SaaS sales experience, preferably in the security space.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs.
  • Experience up-selling & cross-selling to both new and existing customers.
  • Proficiency in strategic account planning, territory management, and value-based selling.
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex cybersecurity concepts, particularly in Identity and Access Management.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, Linkedin Sales Navigator & Outreach.
