Solutions Engineer

Solutions Engineer (Networking/Security): Serving as a regional technical expert and product portfolio manager for assigned technologies in the Americas, acting as a strategic liaison between regional teams and Global Headquarters with an accent on gathering market feedback, competitive insights, and customer needs to inform product development. Focus on delivering deep technical expertise to customers and internal teams through content creation, training, pre-sales support, and continuously feeding market intelligence back into product roadmaps.

Location: This role is based in our Chelmsford, MA office; remote consideration for candidates living proximate to an international airport and willing to perform job responsibilities during Eastern Time Zone business hours.

Salary: $125,000–$135,000 annually

What you will do

• Collect and synthesize market trends, customer feedback, and feature requests for product roadmap.
• Act as subject matter expert on assigned technology features and capabilities.
• Support creation and distribution of technical content within the Americas.
• Analyze portfolio sales performance and market trends to inform regional strategy.
• Support pre-sales, professional services activities, and project implementations.
• Represent Axis at internal and external speaking opportunities and assist with messaging.

Requirements

• Ability to balance technical aptitude with business acumen.
• Technical depth in IP networking, video transport, and surveillance systems.
• Experience with computer networking infrastructure technologies (LAN, WAN, routers, firewalls).
• Knowledge of video transport streaming protocols and compression technologies (RTP, TCP/IP, UDP, IGMP, multicasting).
• 5+ years’ experience in physical security industry.
• Based in Chelmsford, MA office or remote within Eastern Time Zone.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including internationally.
