Mid-Market Account Executive (Cybersecurity): Driving new business growth by acquiring small to medium-sized customers and expanding Abnormal’s footprint in the market with an accent on owning the entire sales process from initial prospecting through deal closure within a defined territory. Focus on overachieving new annual recurring revenue quotas and generating new business opportunities for Mid Market accounts.
Location: Remote (USA)
Salary: $85,000–$100,000 USD

What you will do
- Sell security solutions to your defined territory with the goal to overachieve new annual recurring revenue quota.
- Manage Mid Market accounts from initial conversations through contract signing and up-selling.
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities with Mid Market accounts.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure timely renewals and expansion sales opportunities.
- Act as a voice for the customer/prospect with internal teams including Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience selling in cybersecurity.
- 4 years in an individual contributor sales role.
- Disciplined pipeline generation across channels (prospecting, marketing, referrals, partners).
- Strong ability to qualify needs and present ROI-driven value to stakeholders.
- Execution of a repeatable sales process with focus and time management.
- Ability to navigate internal and customer buying processes effectively.
- Experience gathering and applying customer insights to improve execution.
- Thrives in early-stage, resource-constrained environments and collaborates cross-functionally.

- MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or Command of the Sale sales methodology training.
