Senior Systems Administrator

Senior Systems Administrator: Managing and securing Linux systems and VMs for a government customer with an accent on Risk Management Framework, patching, and agile support. Focus on optimizing performance, ensuring security, and integrating with the application development lifecycle.

Location: Onsite at Annapolis Junction, Maryland. Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance required.

What you will do

• Manage the customer’s Risk Management Framework and related systems to ensure optimized performance and security.
• Support patching, upgrading, and migrating of Linux systems and VMs.
• Support agile activities for systems, including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Work with developers during the normal application development life cycle to build features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of Systems Administrator experience.
• Proficient with Linux; minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years).
• Knowledge of physical and virtual servers.
• Experience researching and creating solutions to close IAVA’s.
• Ansible experience.
• Experience in building and maintaining VMware environments.
• Security+ certification.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

Nice to have

• AWS experience.
• Scripting experience (Python/Perl).
• Docker experience.
