Senior Systems Administrator

TL;DR

Senior Systems Administrator (Linux/VMware): Oversee Risk Management Framework and related systems for optimal performance and security with an accent on patching, upgrading, and migrating Linux systems and virtual machines. Focus on agile development participation, developer collaboration, and resolving Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs).

What you will do

• Manage and optimize customer’s Risk Management Framework and related systems for performance and security.
• Patch, upgrade, and migrate Linux systems and virtual machines to maintain integrity.
• Participate in agile activities including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers throughout the application lifecycle to deliver customer value.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Poly clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of systems administration experience.
• 3+ years of Linux system administration experience (within last 3 years).
• Knowledge of physical and virtual servers; experience building and maintaining VMware environments.
• Experience researching and closing IAVAs; hands-on with Ansible for automation.
• Security+ certification.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Scripting experience (Python/Perl) for automation.
• Familiarity with Docker for containerization.
