What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the design, operation, and continuous improvement of the global backbone and edge network.
• Lead large-scale backbone expansion projects, including PoP deployments and network modernization.
• Architect and develop automation solutions for provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Python and Ansible.
• Troubleshoot complex routing, optical, and transport issues across multi-vendor environments.
• Mentor engineers and establish operational best practices to improve network reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable networking solutions supporting the AI platform.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in large-scale backbone, service provider, or hyperscale cloud networks.
• Deep expertise in SR-MPLS, IS-IS, BGP, Segment Routing, and EVPN.
• Proven experience designing and implementing network automation using Python, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong systems-level understanding of Linux and carrier-grade network operating systems (Nokia SR OS, Juniper Junos).
• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with U.S. export control regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with optical transport technologies and DWDM platforms like Ciena.
• Familiarity with network source-of-truth platforms like NetBox.
• Industry certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or Nokia SRA.
