What you will do

• Model and sculpt high-resolution realistic characters and creatures based on provided concept art.
• Optimize and modify existing 3D assets and prepare them for animation and game import.
• Work on realistic texturing with attention to detail in Substance Painter.
• Create realistic human faces based on concept art or character scans.
• Collaborate with dev teams and art direction to recommend pipeline improvements and achieve artistic vision.
• Collaborate with outsourcing and provide feedback.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Character Artist within the Game or Film industry.
• Previous experience on at least 1 shipped game.
• Strong knowledge of Human and Creature Anatomy.
• Knowledge in hard surface modeling or sculpting.
• Strong understanding of Cloth Simulation in Marvelous Designer.
• Mastery of standard art packages such as Maya, Zbrush, 3DS Max, Blender.

Nice to have

• Mentoring/coaching skills to train other 3D artists.
• Considerable understanding of video games and broad video game culture.
• Previous experience in working on AA / AAA games.
• Knowledge of game engines (Unreal Engine or Unity).
