What you will do

• Design, build, and shape features enriching the Paradox ecosystem, game studios, and internal tools.
• Develop and maintain JavaScript services, scripts, and cloud functions.
• Build and maintain internal JavaScript libraries and utilities.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner on technical aspects of the Product Roadmap.
• Contribute to the satisfactory resolution of Product Backlog stories.

Requirements

• Experience with NodeJS and modern JavaScript (ES2018+).
• Experience with databases (SQL, non-relational dbs like DynamoDB).
• General understanding of data caching and API best practices (CRUD, REST).
• Test-oriented mindset with unit and/or integration tests.
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience running applications on a cloud service.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in C++, C#, Go, and/or Python.
• Knowledge of authentication standards (OIDC / OAuth).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with distributed, non-monolithic systems.
