Location: Fully onsite in Lisbon, Portugal. Relocation support is available.

Salary: €52,000 – €65,000

What you will do

• Design and build RESTful or GraphQL APIs and microservices using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Model data and manage queries using Supabase and PostgreSQL, including row-level security and real-time features.
• Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically Cloud Run and Cloud Functions.
• Implement secure-by-default solutions for authentication and data protection following Clean Architecture principles.
• Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting for backend services and own incident response.
• Participate in architecture discussions and mentor team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Supabase or equivalent PostgreSQL-based backend services.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and serverless compute.
• Solid knowledge of Clean Code and Clean Architecture practices.
• Must be based in or relocate to Lisbon, Portugal for full-time onsite work.
