Clinical Product Lead (Obesity)

What you will do

• Design condition-specific obesity-care journeys from onboarding and triage through prescribing and follow-up.
• Identify unmet clinical needs and assess new interventions, diagnostics, technologies, and service lines.
• Act as the clinical voice within product squads, leading pathway design, workflow optimization, and clinical safety.
• Translate clinical and operational needs into product functionality and internal tooling for clinical, pharmacy, and operations teams.
• Develop and maintain clinical decision-support tools, monitor AI-driven tools, and improve their accuracy, explainability, and safety.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, operations, governance, and the Clinical Safety Officer while using data and user feedback to improve care pathways and outcomes.

Requirements

• Clinical background and experience in a regulated healthcare environment.
• Systems mindset with the ability to design and evaluate complete care journeys.
• Ability to translate clinical needs into clear product and operational requirements.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with clinical safety, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance in healthcare settings.
• Iterative and pragmatic approach, balancing clinical rigor with delivery pace.
• Passion for using digital tools to improve care delivery, safety, and outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience in obesity care, GLP-1 pathways, or digital metabolic health programmes.
• Experience with internal tooling, EHR systems, or clinician-facing infrastructure.
• Experience with AI/ML tools in clinical settings, especially LLMs, RAG, or prompt engineering.
• Exposure to clinical governance in digital health, including audit trails and safety cases.
• Experience in service design, user research, or quality improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with SNOMED, structured patient records, or decision-support systems.
