Commercial Legal Counsel: Supporting high-value commercial and technology transactions focused on SaaS, cloud, and AI-powered customer experience solutions with an accent on complex contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and legal process scaling. Focus on structuring enterprise cloud agreements, advising on data protection and cybersecurity laws, and enabling strategic growth in a global AI-driven environment.

Location: Hybrid role based in Hoboken, NJ, USA with 2 days per week onsite required

What you will do

• Lead complex commercial and technology transactions, focusing on enterprise cloud and SaaS agreements.
• Provide legal and regulatory guidance on U.S. and international data protection, cybersecurity, and commercial contracting.
• Develop and improve legal playbooks, templates, and contracting processes to support business growth.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, finance, security, and privacy teams globally.
• Monitor evolving laws and proactively advise on risk mitigation and compliance.
• Educate internal teams on legal, compliance, and contracting best practices.

Requirements

• Must have Juris Doctor and active U.S. law license
• 8-10 years legal experience with SaaS, cloud computing, and enterprise software transactions
• Strong knowledge of data privacy, cybersecurity, and intellectual property law including international regimes
• Prior in-house legal experience in commercial or technology-driven environments
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
