What you will do

• Develop core systems including storage layers, execution engines, transaction pools, gossip protocols, and state-machine replication for high-throughput, low-latency performance.
• Implement and extend consensus algorithms such as PBFT, HotStuff, and Tendermint to ensure safety and high performance.
• Profile and optimize CPU, memory, I/O, and network stacks to push platform performance limits.
• Integrate cryptographic primitives including hash functions, Merkle proofs, digital signatures, encryption schemes, and zero-knowledge proofs.
• Design and implement networking components for peer discovery, NAT traversal, load balancing, and encrypted multiplexed transports.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States
• 2+ years professional experience building blockchain-based distributed systems and consensus engines.
• Expert proficiency in C++, Rust, Zig, or other low-level languages.
• Deep understanding of consensus protocols and distributed systems theory.
• Strong knowledge of cryptography fundamentals including hashing, Merkle trees, multisignatures, and elliptic-curve cryptography.
• Solid networking experience covering TCP/UDP, QUIC, peer discovery, and NAT traversal.
• Hands-on experience with key-value store databases like RocksDB or MDBX.
