Senior Business Analyst

What you will do

• Collaborate with delivery teams (Product Owners, Service Designers, Business Users, Architects) to understand client and user needs and requirements.
• Refine scope and requirements, aligning priorities and backlogs.
• Produce various artefacts including Process Flows, Customer Journey Maps, User Stories, and defining functional/non-functional/operational needs.
• Take a User-Centric approach, testing options and solutions with user groups and participating in Show & Tells for stakeholders.
• Assist the team in preparing for assurance and quality gates, focusing on delivering the right quality on time and on budget.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in working in Agile Delivery teams adopting agile tools.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, investigating, assimilating, and analyzing different needs, constraints, and problems.
• Practical experience working in the UK Public Sector.
• Proven experience conducting business process reviews, ability to map, understand, and document as-is processes.
• Demonstrable experience analyzing legacy system data structures, indexes, and access patterns, and understanding and documenting API-driven system integrations.
• Demonstrable analytical skills including stakeholder management, building relationships, and collaborating as a team.
• Ability to help define and design “to-be” services and groom product backlogs with Product Owners.
• Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with ServiceNow (or similar helpdesk/service desk platforms).
• Experience in process modelling and customer journey mapping and assisting user testing.
• Experience of working with various tools and technologies needed by a BA e.g. Confluence, Jira, Visio, Mural, Miro.
• Understanding of Service Maps and targeting operating models to align outputs and outcomes.
