What you will do

• Proactively drive the data vision and strategy across Financial Services products.
• Guide, motivate, and grow a new team of Analytics Engineers and BI Analysts.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across functions including Product & Engineering, Risk, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Security.
• Identify, communicate, and remove impediments and risks to delivery within the team and across Financial Services.
• Plan and further the professional growth of individual team members, including 1-1s, performance reviews, and goal-setting.
• Provide technical and process guidance to the team during delivery and find and hire top talent.

Requirements

• Experience leading a team of Data/Analytics Engineers building a scalable Data & BI Platform.
• Expert in SQL and experienced in Python/JavaScript or other programming languages.
• Deep technical expertise in the design and development of Data Models & Pipelines.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management, understanding and addressing their needs.
• Fluency in English as a working language is required.
• Must be located in Canada and able to work within EST/EDT hours.

Nice to have

• Experience in the FinTech domain.
• Experience in GCP.
• Experience in ML/MLOps or Data Science.
