TL;DR

Public Sector Program Director (AI): Driving BMC Helix's public sector solution sales strategy and execution with an accent on technical sales leadership, compliance expertise, and strategic event presence. Focus on ensuring compliance with federal/state/provincial standards and driving customer success across U.S. and Canadian markets.

Location: This role can be based remotely in the United States. Travel up to 25% is required for events and customer engagement.

Salary: $144,500 - $195,500 (Base) with On-Target Earnings (OTE) up to $391,000.

What you will do

  • Drive large-scale public sector enterprise solution initiatives and support sales teams.
  • Lead capture strategy and executive interface for complex public sector programs.
  • Advise and assist in planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Represent public sector needs and ensure product alignment with federal standards (FedRAMP, Impact Level, Protected B, etc.).
  • Build and manage AWS Public Sector relationships and directly support Canadian customers.
  • Monitor/manage SaaS technical communications and sales support processes.

Requirements

  • 15+ years in technical sales, solution consulting, and public sector business development.
  • Expertise in BMC Helix solutions and US/Canada federal compliance standards.
  • Keen understanding of public sector missions, constraints, discriminators, and pressures.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Experience with AWS PubSec and SaaS onboarding.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for events and customer engagement.
