What you will do

• Develop and maintain automation tools and practices for backend service integration and operations
• Support new service deployments and maintain production environments
• Collaborate with engineering and production operations teams to scale infrastructure
• Serve as operations expert and development engineer for service launches and maintenance

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years experience with large scale online applications
• Proficient in Python, Shell scripting, and Linux systems administration
• Experience with telemetry tools like Flink, Kinesis, and Dataflow
• Proficiency in C++, C#, or Java with object-oriented best practices
• Experience with deployment and automation tools such as Puppet, Team City, Jenkins, Bamboo, and Maven
• Experience with version control systems like git and Perforce
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or off-hours

Nice to have

• Database management experience with MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, Vertica
• Experience building tools and APIs with F5, Cisco, AWS
• Knowledge of security mechanisms (SSL/TLS, IP-Sec, PKI, RSA/AES) and networking protocols (UDP, TCP, ICMP, HTTP)
