What you will do

• Develop digital payloads for innovative satellite constellations.
• Design and implement signal processing and communication systems for space applications.
• Integrate and design beamforming antennas and their control systems (DRA).
• Develop and optimize onboard processors for high-performance digital signal processing.
• Perform complex link budget calculations for satellite constellations.
• Create comprehensive offers and unit/payload test specifications.

Requirements

• Degree in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in satellite communications, antenna technology, and beamforming.
• Knowledge of high- and extremely high-frequency technology (HF / SHF).
• Proficiency in MATLAB for simulation and signal processing.
• Experience with system analysis tools such as STK (Systems Tool Kit) and Satsoft.
• Basic knowledge of the German language is desirable.

Nice to have

• FPGA design skills (VHDL, Verilog, high-level synthesis).
• Familiarity with communication standards like DVB-S2, 5G, and European Waveform.
• Experience in developing complex communication systems, ideally within the aerospace sector.
