Senior Data Engineer (Cloud)

TL;DR

Senior Data Engineer (Cloud/Python): Building and optimizing data-intensive applications and automating data pipelines to create business value for clients with an accent on cloud technologies, efficient computing methods, and best practices. Focus on solving complex business challenges, interacting directly with clients, and continuous skill development.

Location: We’re primarily looking for someone based in the Helsinki area, but we’re open to candidates living a bit further away, for example, in Tampere or Turku - as long as you're willing to visit the client’s office when needed.

Requirements

• Strong passion for developing high-quality code with modern methods and mathematical thinking.
• Proven experience working as a Data Engineer.
• Expertise in Python (Scala or Clojure are a plus) and relational databases.
• Experience with tools for building data-intensive applications (like Spark and Kafka).
• Proficiency with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Eagerness to continuously learn new things and embrace challenges as opportunities.
• Must be based in the Helsinki area, Tampere, or Turku, Finland, and willing to visit the client’s office when needed.
