Senior Data Engineer (Azure/Databricks)

What you will do

• Develop and design data-driven services and solutions for the Lakehouse Analytics platform.
• Build data solutions using Python, SQL, and relevant programming languages.
• Work with big data technologies including Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Apache Spark.
• Develop cloud-based solutions, primarily within Azure.
• Collaborate with developers and customer experts in diverse delivery teams.
• Use approved AI tools responsibly while protecting confidentiality, privacy, and security.

Requirements

• Several years of professional software development experience and strong programming skills.
• Hands-on experience developing data-driven solutions with big data technologies.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions, preferably Azure.
• Excellent English and Finnish communication skills.
• Ability to take responsibility, collaborate openly, and develop high-quality products.
• AI literacy, including writing clear prompts and validating outputs in accordance with company policies.

Nice to have

• Experience with social care and healthcare data.
• Knowledge of data warehouses, data lakes, or lakehouses.
• Experience with dimensional data modeling, star schemas, and data marts.
• Experience developing Power BI solutions.
