Data Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Work on data supply chain importing data (structured and unstructured), preparing them and creating data records with a strong focus on timelines, stability, integrity and performance initiatives.
• Be responsible for data architecture, quality assurance and constant improvement.
• Coordinate efforts to find the best possible path to a solution and coach less experienced team members.
• Be involved in the development process from concept to delivery, including Pair Programming and Reviews Sessions.
• Actively take part in planning new tasks, defining requirements, estimating workload and setting up deadlines.
• Evaluate eCommerce & Data Service trends in software development and significantly shape further development in alignment with the CTO.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience implementing and aggregating information, as well as maintaining data pipelines and data services.
• Previous experience in data engineering projects with eCommerce or automotive aftermarket focus.
• Expert knowledge in Python development.
• Very good knowledge of databases and application development.
• Knowledge of Advanced (Postgres) SQL Patterns.
• Proficiency in English required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Apache Airflow, Pandas, BigQuery, Google Cloud, Terraform, Typescript.
• German language skills.
