What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, AWS Glue, and AWS Lambda.
• Design and manage relational database schemas for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server.
• Optimize data queries and indexing for performance and cost efficiency.
• Package and deploy Python-based data services using Docker, ECS, or EKS.
• Ensure data compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC2 standards.
• Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to ensure data accessibility and quality.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical or data engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with AWS data services including S3, Lambda, Redshift, and Glue.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and data lakes.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work on a hybrid basis if located near a hirify.global office.
