What you will do

• Architect and implement backend solutions using Python (FastAPI), PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Develop and operate real-time transport protocols including Websockets, SSE, and WebRTC via LiveKit.
• Collaborate with Mobile, Web, and AI teams to integrate and validate new features.
• Ensure code quality through clean architecture principles and comprehensive unit, integration, and e2e tests.
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, and AWS (ECS/EKS).
• Partner with AI experts to create data-driven language learning experiences.

Requirements

• 8+ years of backend development experience with strong Python expertise.
• Proven track record of leading B2C/Consumer-facing projects with measurable impact.
• Deep experience with ASGI frameworks (FastAPI, Starlette) and ORMs like SQLAlchemy.
• Strong skills in designing and optimizing PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and system design.
• English: C1+ (Excellent written and spoken) required.

Nice to have

• AWS infrastructure and DevOps experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
