What you will do

• Serve as primary legal counsel for game and ecosystem products, providing hands-on legal advice throughout product life-cycles.
• Partner with diverse teams including engineering, design, marketing, and legal to support product development and compliance.
• Advise on U.S. and international laws related to game development, monetization, advertising, and subscription models.
• Conduct rights clearance, risk assessment, and issue spotting for first and third-party games across platforms.
• Support senior leadership with clear legal guidance on key regulatory and compliance issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of legal processes, templates, and policies to scale business operations.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in London, United Kingdom (onsite)
• J.D. degree with at least 5 years relevant experience, including 3 years as in-house product counsel in gaming, technology, or entertainment.
• Strong knowledge of international consumer protection, intellectual property, competition, marketing, and commercial laws.
• Experience leading large-scale cross-functional projects and working independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
• Prior experience or knowledge of the video game industry.
