Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial IT)

Location: Based in the UK (Hybrid/Remote), with some travel within Europe potentially required.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements (Software Licensing, SaaS, Managed Services, Hardware sale/leasing, reseller, partnership, subcontracting, NDA).
• Provide general commercial legal support to the Sales team.
• Monitor legal developments and provide internal trainings to commercial and operational teams.
• Contribute to implementing company policies and procedures at a regional level.
• Advise internal clients on issues and risks to ensure compliance with company policies and law.
• Provide legal support to HR, Finance, and other departments.

Requirements

• UK qualified with demonstrable experience in contract law.
• Good knowledge of intellectual property law.
• Understanding of Financial Conduct Authority compliance or litigation experience.
• Extensive experience as an in-house counsel with an internationally operating IT company.
• Excellent drafting and negotiating skills.
• Fluent in writing and speaking English.
