TL;DR

Account Director (SaaS): Leading strategic customer success initiatives for enterprise retail brands with an accent on driving platform adoption, retention, and measurable business outcomes. Focus on managing complex executive relationships, delivering data-driven ROI analysis, and orchestrating cross-functional teams to ensure long-term account health.

Location: Remote with mandatory residency in NYC tri-state area, Chicago, St. Louis, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, or Cincinnati. 50% travel required.

Salary: $162,200 - $195,000 per year plus 15-20% bonus and equity.

What you will do

  • Own overall account strategy and executive engagement cadence to ensure value realization.
  • Identify and lead internal initiatives to improve customer success processes and scalable frameworks.
  • Build and maintain multi-threaded, VP+ relationships within customer organizations.
  • Lead commercial negotiations including renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product and data science teams to surface insights and influence roadmap prioritization.
  • Utilize performance metrics to assess health, identify risks, and drive proactive account interventions.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the US, specifically within the specified target cities for client proximity.
  • 8+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or consulting within SaaS, analytics, or e-commerce.
  • Strong background in CPG, retail, or Amazon-centric business operations.
  • Proven record of successful commercial negotiations and measurable business impact.
  • Executive presence with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
