TL;DR

Account Director (eCommerce/AI): Drives customer satisfaction, adoption, and retention by owning account strategy, fostering executive relationships, and leading commercial negotiations for an AI-powered digital commerce platform with an accent on retail and CPG industry understanding, strategic problem-solving, and analytical depth. Focus on uncovering root business challenges, translating complex needs into actionable solutions, and orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Location: Remote from the US-East Coast. This role requires regular in-person time with customers, so candidates should be close to an airport, with a location in the tri-state area strongly preferred.

Salary: $162,200 - $195,000/per year base pay, plus a 15%-20% cash bonus and an equity package.

What you will do

  • Own overall account strategy, planning, and executive engagement cadence.
  • Uncover customer business challenges and translate them into actionable solutions, identifying opportunities to expand engagement.
  • Build and maintain multi-threaded, VP+ relationships across customer organizations, leading executive-level business reviews.
  • Lead renewals and negotiate contract terms, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Leverage analytical acumen to identify performance trends, quantify ROI, and collaborate with product and data science teams.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver customer outcomes with excellence and champion the customer’s voice internally.

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience in consulting, account management, customer success, or related fields within analytics, SaaS, or e-commerce.
  • Experience at a top consulting/analytics firm or within a leading CPG, Retail, Amazon, or SaaS organization serving these sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the CPG and e-commerce landscape, with proven ability to deliver measurable business impact.
  • Exceptional strategic and analytical problem-solving skills, translating insights into actionable plans.
  • Executive presence with outstanding communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with a record of successful renewals, upsells, and contract negotiations, and a willingness to travel.
