What you will do

• Administer Debian Linux server systems and operate highly available distributed environments.
• Customize and manage HA solutions, storage systems, and virtualization technologies.
• Monitor servers and services to ensure stability and performance.
• Automate administration tasks and deployments using Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
• Support key customer services and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with teams across Munich, Regensburg, and Bucharest to maintain service quality.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid in Munich
• 2–4 years experience with Linux systems, preferably Debian.
• Experience managing on-premises data center infrastructure and web servers (nginx, Apache).
• Proficiency with MySQL administration, HA setups, Kubernetes, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher; B1 acceptable. German is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Experience with firewall and VPN solutions (OpenVPN, pfSense).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
• Backup solution implementation experience.
• Networking knowledge including routing, VLANs, and BGP.
