What you will do

• Develop and maintain complex backend systems primarily using Golang.
• Design and implement efficient, reliable APIs using gRPC, protocol buffers, RESTful JSON, and GraphQL.
• Work with microservice architectures, caching (Redis), and relational databases (SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Implement lean DevOps practices including containerized services with Kubernetes and serverless environments.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams and make confident technical decisions.
• Coach and mentor team members to support their professional growth.

Requirements

• Must have 10+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required.
• Ability to work fully remote with UK working hours.
• Strong experience with Golang and backend development technologies.
• Experience with microservices, API design, caching, and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
